In celebration of our coming of age, we've enlisted our mates over at Gelato Messina to create 5 unique ice cream flavours developed by some of our favourite brands. We've got Patagonia, State of Escape, Paloma Wool, Rag & Bone and Cafe Kitsuné stepping up to the plate.

Next up in our 18th Birthday Series is New York-based rag & bone. Inspired by a desire to create modern, beautifully constructed clothes, the label was co-founded by Marcus Wainwright and Nathan Bogle. As longtime partners of Incu, it was a no-brainer to have them collaborate with our Messina specials.

Tell us about your unique flavour that Messina has formulated for you?
It’s a clotted cream gelato with strawberry jam and sponge cake. I’m English so it seemed to make sense to do something along this lines. They’re classic flavors that hopefully can provide some comfort right now!

Where did the inspiration come from?
Honestly I just asked my three kids what would be a great ice cream flavor and just said it had to be kind of English

Tell us about Marcus’ relationship with ice cream?
Ice cream rules, it’s kind of as simple as that.

What do birthday’s mean to you as a brand, are they celebrated?
We celebrate milestones at rag & bone. We had a damn good party for our 15th anniversary and look forward to celebrating birthdays in person when it’s safe and sane again.
