Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. Crafted in Japan from pure silk, the Silk Wide Stripe Tie is defined by its all-over diagonal stripe.
