Founded in 2013 in New Delhi, Kardo takes inspiration from India’s rich textile traditions and craft techniques. Each piece is carefully made in its own workshop, reflecting the brand’s dedication to slow production. Drawing from the rich textile traditions of India, each Marvin Antique Kantha Quilt Jacket is crafted from vintage kantha blankets, hand-stitched patchworks originally made from layers of repurposed sari fabric. Kardo carefully sources these one-of-a-kind textiles and upcycles them into jackets, applying their signature distressing techniques and meticulous hand-finishing throughout.
Due to the upcycled and handmade nature of these jackets, the colours, stitching, and textures vary slightly from each other.
