When Emily Adams Bode founded her eponymous label, Bode (pronounced Boh-dee), she did so with the intention of expressing a sentimentality for the past through her creations. Inspired by lace tap shorts from the 1930-40s, the Lace Flounce Blouse is cut from sheer nylon lace, featuring ruffle detailing at the collar and cuffs.
