Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. Knitted from cotton, the Broad Stripe Knit is adorned with horizontal stripes throughout and is detailed with distressed accents.
