Veilance: Inspiration from Environments with Claire Ellis

This season, Incu is proud to introduce VEILANCE to its brand mix.

Founded by Arc'teryx in 2009, VEILANCE is known for its mission to explore the horizon of style and innovation. VEILANCE takes inspiration from the conditions of the natural world to create clothing designed for all environments. To celebrate the launch, we looked to explore connection between the individual and environment through members of our community.

Claire Ellis is a Canadian-born emerging ceramic artist and designer based in Naarm/Melbourne. With a focus on sustainability, raw materials and deep experimentation, her works are created using local by-products and waste streams.

Having previously worked as a chef, Claire started her practise creating ceramics for dishes she was serving at the hailed Australian food institution Attica. Coming from an unconventional background allowed Claire the ability to explore her creativity with a new perspective. Inspired by her own values around sustainability and exploration of materials, Claire’s works are full of intentionality and purpose.

Discover the VEILANCE windows at Incu QV, Galeries Women's and Men's until the end of April.
