Behind Our Cover Artwork with Jordy Van Den Nieuwendijk

Artist Jordy van den Nieuwendijk was our first pick to illustrate the cover artwork for our Incu Magazine ‘How We Live’ issue. A
long time collaborator and friend of Incu, Jordy’s works evoke a sense of playfulness and vibrancy that radiate optimism.

Titled Flower in Rain, Jordy’s work for the cover of our Incu Magazine was a reflection of the feeling of home:

“Flower in Rain celebrates the sensation of encountering a flower just after rainfall; seeing those still, glistening droplets clinging to the leaves, reflecting the light and deepening the colours, all mingled with that delicious wet-nature scent. I tried to capture the feeling of bringing those flowers indoors; nothing like a freshly cleaned house on a Sunday morning, topped off with a bunch of flowers on the table. I think this could very well be my favourite “Home” experience.”
