Nike's re-release of the Air Max III is part of the 30th-anniversary celebrations for the classic footwear model. Originally known as the Air Max III up until the year 2000, this model was then renamed the Air Max 90 after the year it was released. The 2020 update will feature some minor modifications from the 1990 model like a new panel scale, adjusted toe box height and updated heel panel to match the original design.
