A.P.C. x Marc Jacobs

A.P.C. x Marc Jacobs

For their interaction, A.P.C. and Marc Jacobs revisit one of their favourite areas of expression: College style, which they interpret together in an exclusive men's and women's collection. The fusion of the logos of the two imaginary universities—A.P.C. in Paris and Marc Jacobs in New York—is a spectacular manifestation of this transatlantic exchange.

For the occasion, the two brands have also put together a wardrobe of masculine and feminine essentials, including denim jeans, miniskirts, a slightly baggy striped shirt, the famous Marc Jacobs tote bag and a collector's version of the A.P.C. Demi-Lune, with each piece embroidered or embossed. Orange is a common thread throughout the collection, appearing on logos, the collar of a canvas jacket, and the stripes on a fleece polo shirt - not to mention the authentic Paris transportation card which happens to be called "Carte Orange," that Marc Jacobs used to get around the city in the 1980s.

As a final nod to this mirrored creation, the profiles of Marc Jacobs and Jean Touitou adorn Roman Empire-style buttons on jeans and penny loafers.
