Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. The Stripe and Check Cotton Shirt has a classic patchwork pattern and is ideal for hot weather due to its soft fabric.
