We’re excited to announce our part in a unique collaboration with our friends at MINI and a group of some of the world’s most progressive talents working across fashion and design.
To celebrate the launch of the all new MINI Paceman, the team at MINI decided to take a new slant on things; developing a concept showroom like no car-dealership you’ve ever visited before.
With a nod to New York, the versatile space in the heart of Melbourne’s Chapel Street will house not only two of the sleek new Paceman, but also a roster of incredible designers each with their own story to tell including footwear designer Mark McNairy, Andrew Chen of 3sixteen Denim, Danish architect Sigurd Larsen, Sam Huff of Portland based Tanner Goods, sock-maker Alfredo Gonzales and bespoke tailor Timothy Everest. These collaborators will be in the store for a month each during the project, which commences June 1st with Andrew Chen’s residency.
To round out the international brands, Incu’s ‘designed by’ label Weathered will be present in the space over the six month period of the project, showcasing first the current AW13 menswear collection followed by the release of the SS13 collection in July. With Weathered's understated, clean aesthetic and the teams appreciation for good design in all forms the partnership was a natural one with the range fitting seamlessly into the space.
We invite you to come and spend some time in the Paceman Store, to browse the Weathered collection, learn about the lifecycle of denim with Andrew Chen and of course, fall in love with cars.
